A couple of hints with flickr - you can either sign in to flickr by creating a yahoo! account or just browse and copy in a photo. People have had some dramas connecting up their blogs, so DON'T PANIC if you can't do it - it doesn't really matter. If you want to try and connect your blog to flickr, use this link: http://www.flickr.com/blogs.gne and put in your blog's details. Then you can find a photo you want to put into your blog by searching or browsing through the massive selection available. Click on the photo until it is as big as it can get. On the top of the photo you have selected there should be a series of small "buttons",
one of which says "blog this" (see left). Click on that, pick your blog from the list and you should be OK! If you aren't connecting up your blog just right-click on a picture, save it and add it to a post in your blog.
Anyway, the other photo is actually one of mine. I am not a brilliant photographer, but somtimes I get lucky and I do like this shot. It was taken in Fiji just before I started in this job.

For those of us who were finding posting photos from flickr to our blogs not working yesterday - don't worry. It seems that the idea of using a general login for victorian public libraries won't work - if you want to post photos from flickr to your blog it is best to set up your own yahoo account.
You probably all received an email advising of this - but just in case you haven't I will paste the email explaining this below:

Sorry for this but it looks as though our idea for the flickr general account won't work (you'd all have to link blogs and there is an issue of privacy) so I've change the password and would like you all to have a go at creating a flickr account of your own.
It is quite simple, you create a yahoo email and create the account from that.
If you have problems, you can always save a photo from flickr on to your computer (right click on photo, copy image, save) and then upload that file to your blog. If you have any problems, please email us. Sorry for any confusion,
